Heaven forbid he'll add transactions! Did one of the sales people promise the moon? What will I say? I'll ask if he's approved my full-time req ... but where'll I find EDI experience? I haven't found a contractor yet. I don't have time to talk to 5 salesmen and look at 73 resumes. Few know there's no dot in X12 ... that TLE is not the same as TL EDI. I know! The people who founded EDI Yellow Pages in the 80's ... sold it for love of consulting and search ... now offer me a job board. |
I see employment candidates or consultants with > 2 years' full time experience ... in EDI or HIPAA transactions. I see what state ... what platform ... what translator. This is just what I want! I see a consultant listed and send email to friend-edi. If the perfect person's not already there ... I post my position with a 2-minute form. No setup fee, no monthly charge. Then a real, live person at friend-edi confirms it's TLE not TL EDI ... and calls the candidate to check availability and salary or rate. I just get 1 or 2 resumes! For a permanent employee with benefits, I pay a reasonable search fee. With a contractor, I contract directly, and he or she pays a referral fee. I get a good match, stay in budget, see just 1 or 2 resumes. Yes! I'm ready for Sarge now. |
